When I prepared my exhibition in Osaka I really went into the "flow" - I think this creative moments are fantastic and very rare... I felt my creations in the invisible, waiting to become! I was just there to put them into being. I was like pushed in one direction...using one women face (the Saint Mary) that I printed in nori (japanese rice past) before dying with indigo so the image become white. All these images more or less invisible were so inspiring! I combined them in different way, printed the very powerful symbol of "flower of life" on them and different images from nature, and combined them with eco dyed images (images where the leaves give their own messages) I did patchworks for the first time in my life!

It was so interesting to combine the images in different ways, to create connections...The woman face, the symbols, nature... The silk when dyed with indigo become turquoise blue - very beautiful. All the works together become very coherent - for me a message for peace and harmony.

Works to get inspired by, works that gives energy and inspirations to a home...

I finished at 1 o'clock the night before leaving...and I just had the time to do what was needed for

I always been fascinated by the geometry hidden in nature, that the golden number proportion are everywhere around us...in nature and in our bodies. When doing research for the project at IVA in Stockholm I found out that the fractals show us the same mystery - that harmonious patterns are repeated again and again in univers everywhere. It is fantastic. It gives somehow hope that, in another dimension, everything has meaning. The theory of chaos, is not about chaos but that beyond the "illusion of chaos" there are structures that we often can't see or understand...

I feel I really would love to even more fill our society with NATURAL NATURE - details from nature in bigg, to really show the beauty and the mysteries. Havn't you felt an inner energy in authentic nature images? There are not enought AUTHENTIC objects in our every day life today...

Perhaps thats why we so often slide on the surface without being able to jump into the mysterious "openings" beside our way... Authentic objects could be like doors to other dimensions, to a deeper reality.

In the shinto religion in Japan some stones, waterfalls and trees are sacred and honored. There are spirits living there. We need a world filled with spirits and inner life...a world filled with mystery

and not just three dimensions but four or five...

I'm just back from Japan, filled with the quality of the old Japan. Filled with fascination for the old handicrafts, realized with so much perfection. But I want to find out how I can use this in MY WAY in my art. The love and appreciation for life her and now, the paintings of birds and flowers, of the everyday life...The admiration for small things around us! For a long time I have felt I wanted to show the beauty in nature that often we don't see. That was the idea behind my INNER LANGUGE OF NATURE projects with Rom Project in Tokyo (my agency since 2007). This nature that has so much more dimensions that we often understand... were everything is connected.

My inspiration for the INDIGO now - Indigo as a natural dye, the blue color as a symbol for peace and harmony, I will try to connect it with THE INNER LANGUAGE OF NATURE.

This is my new project! (And it is one year now that I'm working with the Pastel blue in Toulouse, helping Terre de Pastel de develop a blue collection...) I want to connect my art with cloths, home textiles...bags. Artistic values have to be everywhere!

My huge challenge now is to find out how I can connect the INDIGO dying with my artistic works.

I love this blue color and I love the dying process...the magic with the yellow bath and the yellow fabric becoming blue in the contact with the air.

In my creative process I'm trying, searching...putting together. It is fascinating. I know that I will find out, like following a red threat that is my way into the futur and I don't know yet where it will lead.

It is always a new adventure.

I try to print silkscreen with transparent color and with white colors before dipping the textiles in the dye...This gives me interesting effects when sometimes the white becomes blue and sometimes it rest white (!) I can't really control it... Every day is an adventure! I can hide my images in the blue and print images on top of each others...plant forms, geometric forms, texts etc.

I also try to dye my textile collection with leaves made at Rydboholm in Sweden. Could be interesting... I would like to transform them into totebags, tablerunners, cushions and table mats. What do you think? I will show more photos soon.

How to make our life more poetic? To celebrate nature and the rythm of the seasons could be one way...a very symbolic one.

In Japan, to go together and enjoy the cherryblossoms in the spring is a big and very important event. It is called: "o-hanami shimasu".

I think this is so wonderful! To celebrate all these beautiful flowers coming out from the black branches after the long winter...It is like celebrating the LIFE COMING BACK INTHE SPRING...

I started to do it here, too. With my husband we went to "The Courbières" this weekend to enjoy all the trees in flower...and the petals dancing in the wind... So beautiful!

I now trying to draw them in my studio...!

...I can often feel the energy in wild untouched nature, like an inner vibrating life force that we all need for our wellbeeing. I think that inside ourselves we all have this inner ESSENCE. An authentic part of our beeing far from our time and space limited Ego. Nature can help us to reconnect to it and we can reach it in silente moment in nature...or when we really SEE and feel the nature around us.

On this "essence level" everything is connected with everything else...

In my art I often use the image of the nerves of a leaf, as a symbole for these invisible connections between everything...

It is always difficult to go into the creativity after a period filled with other activities. I have been printing textiles for Terre de Pastel, and working with my website. Now I want to CREATE again! In my studio I look at old works, put together images to feel in what direction I have to go. I want to do blue works...more naturinspired...I need to just be, surrended with my artworks, texts, drawings and papers...to let come.

As a wiseman has said "to give space to what is waiting to emerge"...

I found old paperworks I made at Lessebo in Sweden long time ago. I have put strings and thin wrapping paper inside the pulp. It is much darker today - and more beautiful. I like them... The geometrical triangel creates an open space in the middle of the paper.

In my painings I use layers of layers of thin paper on top of each other. It is a fascinating way to work, like hiding images inside the painting and like "give life and meanig to the image".

I would like to connect the papermaking, the eco dying, paintings and textiles... There are so many possibilities...

But to transmet "an inner language of nature" is essential in my work. The hidden beauty, the process of life...

The process is so essential! So much is happening in the process, when the artist is working in collaboration with his tools, and with nature.

Can material things around us be animated by what we call spirit or soul?

In Japan this is one of the essential things in design and in nature. We can feel when an object has his own life, are vibrating with something more then just materia. This is also about wabi and sabi.

There is a personality...and we can feel it!

Why do we feel so confortable in some houses and in other everything is just "empty" in a cold and unpersonal way? It has nothing to do with just "beautiful" objects.

Perhaps our role is to inhibite spirit in the world, to give life to the materia.

Often I think of this. After the summer I try to give new life to my studio and my tools...to create a "presence" in the studio. This is a huge responsability... to give our world life and meaning. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS INVISIBLE!

In Japan many places, trees and stones are respected as holy, and animated by

an inivisible spirit. Often these places are protected by a rope. I love this!

If there is an inner essence in nature around us, I think we can connect to this throught our own inner selves, through or own authentic beeings, if we tries to just BE PRESENT and awakened to things, nature and beauty around us...

I read a beautiful little book called "Wabi-Sabi for Artists, Designers, Poets & Philosophers by Leonard Koren.

For long time I have loved the Wabi/Sabi - this hidden, inner quality in japanese culture...

so far from what many people here in the West find beutiful. Here beauty is the imperfect, the impermanent, the incomplete... It is the beauty of things modest and humble...the beauty of the inconspicuous and overlooked aspects of nature. The beauty of things marked by the time, moving toward nothingness.

This NOTHINGNESS that is so important in japanese Culture...

And the beauty is not "an object" but often a context of things - a present moment.

"Beauty is the extraordinary moment of poetry and grace"...

I think there is an ESSENCE hidden in us and in everything around us. An essence that just ARE, here and now, always perfect, when our thoughts and ego are not interacting and complicating everything.

In this "essence level" we are all connected.

"When an object is peered down to its essece without removing the poetry" - it is wabi/sabi

I'm searching this in my INNER LANGUAGE OF NATURE works...the use the imperfections in nature, and show the beauty in small insignificant detail like leaves and branches...or pine cones...As the wise man says " "Truth comes from the observation of nature..."...

We can all feel how important it is to be in nature, to walk in a forest listening to the birds or just sit out in the sun. In Japan there are an expression for this: To take a SHINRIN-YOKU "a forest bath"!

To walk slowly in the fores and admiring the leaves turning to yellow, or just smelling the humidity from the moss...listening to the branches cracking under the feets...

To take " a forest bath" is more and more popular in Japan where nature is luxury and many peopla lives in big citys. It is a way to come back to our inner selves...To take a SHINRIN-YOKU becomes in our life something very precious!

In my art I developed with a japanese ageny a brand we called "THE INNER LANGUAGE OF NATURE". The idea has been to use natural patterns in a "very natural way" to bring further an inner authenticity and energy that only the "wild nature" can give us. I think we need this ORGANIC forms in our lives...not to loose our selves, and to feel the joy and freedom in the "authenticity" of nature.

To be in the flow, to create is the most fantastic state of beeing. Life is just so fantastic when I'm in the creative process! The creations just comes, the movements are fluide and evident...But to come there can take time. It is a process of reading, reactivting the tools, reactivate the space...do mecanic things like preparing canvases to start to be in the movement. Then just one day, I'm in it again... It is like a mystery...

I now start to feel that my art and images moves in the invisible space - the cloud - around the world...

To "be connected"...and take the risque that others copies work. But I think we have to! We must open up and share what we are doing...and try to be a step ahead and then there will be no danger of copying.

I will try to connect my new homepage to Facebook and Pintarest...and try to connect this blog about my creative art to my blot about FASCINATING THINKERS... where I will write about where my inspiration comes from. A blog I do with Wordpress that is almost ready to use.

I will try to communicate...and share with everybody that is interested.

ART and DESIGN can help the world to be better and more poetic! ART can help people to open up their inner selves towards more feelings, more deepth and more authenicity. I think the material around us has to be "activated" to vibrate...and I think one very important thing today is to transform our FLAT world into a multidimensional, inspirating and vibrating reality....

This is my firt blog on my new site about my creative life as an artiste and designer!

I have decided to create one site with my ART and my DESIGNS, and not as before two sites. Anyway the most important for me is to spread my art in different ways into our homes and offices to create more poetry from nature in our daily life. I think we really needs it!
