I think we really need more poetry in our daily lives! There are so few people who read poetry today. But words have enormous power to convey emotional messages to us during the day!

This is why I have tried in many ways to give a place to poetry on my trays and on my printed textiles.

The textile collections made by Design House Stockholm are poetic collections: almost all textiles have fragments of poetry.

The POETRY I used comes from the poetry books of my father Ulf Sellergren. His poems are like Japanese haikus, trying to help us live more authentic lives, to feel more, to see more and to create our own lives and days as an artist creates his works...

His poems are very close to "my inner language of nature", and also related to the Japanese spirit of Wabi and Sabi in many ways. I invite you to see the beauty in the small, insignificant details of nature and to live a deeper and more intense life...
