"SHINRIN YOKU" OR FOREST BATH

SHINRIN YOKU is, in Japan, a movement that proves that contact with nature can heal and align man with his deep and authentic nature.

The scents and energies of trees (especially pines) help humans to regain their higher vibrations. Researchers in Japan, and especially Professor Yoshifumi Miyazaki, have even found that "SHINRIN YOKU" could cure cancer.

Contact with nature helps us overcome stress and boost our immune system.

Holding exhibitions with the theme of SHINRIN YOKU seemed very appropriate to me!

I created three exhibitions in collaboration with Mapie De Vigne to showcase the beauty and poetry of nature, all made using the "eco-dyeing" technique, with indigo and with my screen prints of nature motifs (leaves, branches, but also texts).

We wanted to give visitors an experience similar to a walk in the forest and to discover the beauty of the small details of nature, as well as to feel the "poetry of the forest".
