SILK SCARF 45x145 "eco dye" N°11

This silk scarf is a small work of art!
 I like it very much. It has very warm colors, in shades of ochre, green and yellow.
 I printed a text "Silence calmed the intoxication of grasshoppers" by my writer friend Vincent Pachès.
 This scarf is very soft and delicate, decorated with leaf prints from, among other trees, fig and catalpa, made using the "eco-dye" technique I learned from Irit Durman. With this technique, the leaf prints retain their amazing colors. The leaves left prints in yellow-ochre and yellow-green on a beige background.
 Yes, "eco-dye" is a wonderful technique, as if the leaves are leaving their messages directly on the silk.
