NATURAL AND INDIGO TEXTILE ART:
BLUE TEXTILES
" Between leaf and indigo"
I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and I call this collection "Between Leaf and Indigo".
I strive to use images of nature that are as authentic as possible, preserving their original energy and beauty. This unique artwork offers a return to nature through a visual and sensitive language. It integrates harmoniously into modern décor, bringing natural vibrations and an authentic presence. I invite you to bring more nature into your home as a source of inspiration!
Table runners can also be used as wall decoration, creating a delicate link between textile art and living nature.
For this creation, I first composed a fabric from images of nature, which I then screen-printed using a traditional method. Linden leaves and fragments of branches were enlarged to reveal the richness of their forms and convey the silent energy of the plant world.
Certain areas of the textile are then dyed with indigo, creating shades ranging from light to deep blue. This color evokes calm and serenity, creating a soothing atmosphere in the space where the artwork is displayed.
Some pieces are enhanced by the printing of a short poetic text, a haiku written by Vincent Paches, added in silkscreen printing.
This poetic presence extends the dialogue between matter, nature, and the imagination.
"Blue captures the moment"
between breaths
"Silence remains"
