 This work is inspired by mythology and the mysterious depths of the sea.
 I incorporated images of the fish-god "Oannes", a half-man, half-fish being, surrounded by ancient symbols and multiple layers of rich shades of blue. What do we really know about the depths of the ocean? Could the origins of life on Earth have begun there? Water is an infinitely fascinating element, holding memory in its molecular structure and surrounded by mysteries.
 As in many of my paintings, you will find layers of hidden imagery—painted or printed on thin papers that I have layered on top of each other. This technique reflects how reality is filled with hidden dimensions, things we sense but cannot see. I like to think of my symbols as gateways to deeper, unseen realms that invite you to explore beyond the surface.
