Paperwork is magic! I learned to make Japanese papers in a paper mill in Japan, "Fujimori papermill". I developed a very personal technique. I'm starting to prepare my images:  images painted with pigments on Japanese paper. Afterwards, during the creation of the papers, I include the images layer by layer in the paper, between the fibers. To make Japanese paper, we build the paper little by little in the tatami, with a little fiber each time. 
I therefore have in my papers images on the surface and others inside, completely integrated into the papers.
The images that I have integrated here are mythological symbols from different cultures, which tell the story of the Valkyrie. It's to awaken your fantasy and make you travel in space-time!
The fibers that I used it's fibers of kozo from the bush of mulberry, fibers much longer than those that I are used to make western papers, and therefore perfect for decorative papers and often used for that in Japan for sliding doors.
